Today, Casio is focusing its efforts on solar-powered radio-controlled watches, where the built-in solar battery eliminates the nuisance of replacing batteries, and atomic timekeeping ensures users never have to reset the time. Recently, Casio has also launched a series of Bluetooth watches that sync to the user's cell phone to automatically update the time. Casio is always moving time forward.
This new G-SHOCK is designed and engineered for those special dark, secret missions that demand something extra. The countdown timer function has a large, specially designed, easily identifiable, dedicated button for quick and sure operation under the toughest of conditions. At the end of a countdown, alerts are issued by either a vibration operation or a tone plus LED flash operation.
The special shock absorber design of the back of the watch helps to ensure that vibrations are felt by the wrist. The large face of the GD350 is configured to ensure that the countdown timer is easily seen in the dark. A high luminance LED can be configured to light up for one, three, or five seconds, and an Auto Light feature causes the face to illuminate whenever the watch is tilted towards the face for reading.
The grey resin band digital watch with a neutral face has a case diameter of 53.4 millimeters and is made of resin.
